This is a list of reasonable appartements (without breakfast) and bed and breakfasts (breakfast included in the price). We also recommend a few selected hotels if you are willing to spend more. Booking of accommodation has has to be made by the participant. In case of cancellation the hotel must be notified! The Johannes Brahms Gesellschaft Pörtschach is providing this list as a help for participants only, but we are not arranging any accomodation.
If you would like to practise at your accomodation, please check the list below (see column “Practising allowed”) or ask at the hotel first! Playing instruments is not permitted at all appartements, bed & breakfasts and hotels.

Youth Hostel – Klagenfurt
Getting from the youth hostel to Pörtschach and back
- From the youth hostel, it’s a 9 minutes walk (700 meters) to Klagenfurt West train station: Walking directions
- From there, trains run regularly to Pörtschach, travel time is 9 minutes: Fahrplan
- Train tickets are EUR 3,70 one way, or EUR 7,50 for an unlimited day pass. Weekly tickets are EUR 18,50. There is a ticket vending machine at Klagenfurt West train station.
